Went to see Beck on Thursday at the Hammersmith Apollo. Drove up to Mortlake in London, parked by my brother’s flat then took the 15 min bus trip to Hammersmith, not a bad little trip and very doable for the occasional indie excursion to the big smoke.

As for the gig itself, it wasn’t quite as rocking as when I saw him on the Odelay tour in 1997, but good fun nonetheless. I guess the crowd weren’t quite up for it enough though Beck et. al certainly gave it their best effort and there were certainly plenty of moments of genius.
